AOX was formed in 2011, when a group of friends that had been following Jesus and making disciples together, recognized that their commitment to God and to each other was a biblical expression of a local church. From the beginning, we have been committed to the journey of growing together, asking God that we would become more like Him as we do. While we are still very much in the process of becomiing who He has made us to be as individuals and together a as a church family, we are grateful to belong together as we follow Jesus.

- Our Story - The church is made up of the people of God, and God has created each of us to be a part of His story. The AOX story is a story of strangers becoming friends as they learned to follow Jesus together. The friendships have grown to be a part of spiritual family that stretches across the country and around the world.
- Our Beliefs - As a people committed to follow Jesus together, We are passionate about seeing each person free to grow into the full expression of who God has created them to be. What we believe about the Scriptures reveal to us about God and what it means to walk in His ways is an essential part of our journey togehter.
- Our Culture - Every church is shaped by the culture that it carries. To know the church, it is important to understand the things that have shaped it's culture. Our Core DNA reveals the heart of our church family, and flows from the way we live out our mission, values and the scriptures stories that have shapes us along the way.
- Our Leadership Teams - In line with our mission, we want to see every follower of Jesus discipled, equipped and released into the good works that God has prepared for them. As we are maturing, there are many people in our church, that serve and provide leadsership in meaningful ways.
